despite my best efforts to contain it.
the coolest guys I know are complete dorks.
their main hobby is getting high
and calling tech support.
I think it's a lot of trouble.
like bathing is a lot of trouble.
I remember the Egyptians' slave lament,
"I am building a four-sided triangle 
in the hot fucking desert
for a mummy
who hates me?"
. . .but I'm thinking, 
at least he has a job
and studies solid geometry,
way-too-solid-extremely-geometric
it's just like the unyielding truth
