Neptune Beach

surfside lunar strobe
splashes on my retina
I am tranced
I blink
I am a snapshot
a Polaroid
I wait 30 seconds
and hold my breath
as I start to peel

lunar saturations make me so gravitational I hold still snap photo dark by sliding skies still lit by the sun I inhale again

pool moon blue
surfside sand
bright lights
lunar crustaceans
scan the horizon
looking for
lost ships
gold cargo
